Went there with a bunch of friends, and food did not only looked great and was served by a very nice young man (owner's son), but it also tested great. The bonus was the portion size, I don't remember ever not finishing my food in a restaurant before.

Really enjoyed the food here.
I had the pork knuckle and it was absolutely delicious.
Perfectly cooked, tender on the inside with crispy skin, full of flavour.
The dumplings were also amazing and just as tasty.
One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Highly recommended

Food was amazing, staff so nice and really trying with the events they put on. Love it! Nice to see an independent pub not a chain! Seems like everyone enjoys working there and it makes it a great experience. Well done guys!

Before setting off for a gruelling shopping trip at the nearby Costco we stopped here for lunch. The reception was so friendly and the staff were attentive. Food and drinks were good value for money 3 of the 4 meals were excellent, mine was also good, but a little bit too greasy. Nothing a gentle dab with some kitchen towel would dort out. Overall we were pleasantly surprised and we will be going back.

We stumbled upon the Miles Arms somewhat by accident, looking for a place to spend the evening, and what a hit it was! This isn't just an ordinary bar or restaurant – it's a place with true soul, and that soul is created primarily by the owners.
From the moment we walked in, we felt incredibly well-cared for. The owners are incredibly friendly, warm, and smiling people who welcome guests like old friends. You can tell they put their whole hearts into this place. Their passion and commitment make the atmosphere absolutely unique – casual, friendly, and simply homey.
And now for the specifics: the food was delicious! Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The pork knuckles, the Sunday roast beef shortribs, were a masterpiece! Plus, there's a great selection of drinks and cocktails – sex on the beach was masterfully prepared.
The whole experience is complemented by the excellent service, which is matched by the owners' approach – everyone is helpful and genuinely kind. If you're looking for a place where you can not only enjoy excellent food and drinks, but above all, feel comfortable and special, this is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back! Five stars isn't enough!

I came here out of interest as, I'd heard that the food here was good and I'd eatenin the landlords previous pub the Star in Pill. Well I was not disappointed it was exceptionally good and freshly cooked! Was decent sized portion and reasonably priced too, the pub itself is homely and very welcoming the stuff are brilliant as well especially the landlord top man🙌 100% would recommend and will definitely go back

It is a welcoming place with very nice atmosphere and the staff are so very friendly, Alan who looked after me while I was there is a great and upcoming member of the staff here.

Since I moved to the other side of Bristol it's no longer my local pub. I visited after a few good years as it's never exactly convenient to get there. I have to say ill definitely make more of an effort to pop for a meal. It's apparently under new ownership and it shows. It's very bright, clean and inviting. The food is amazing, especially the dishes with a European twist. The size of the large Gyros is mind blowing, I could barely finish the whole thing. What also positively added to the experience, was the children's play area that kept my little ones busy while we waited for food. If you're on the M5, passing by Avonmouth and you're craving a great warm meal I highly recommend you pay it a visit.
